100% REAL INGREDIENTS
For a pure, authentic taste, we blend premium organic teas and herbs with only real fruits, flowers and spices. We never use “natural” flavourings or fragrances like other teas do.
100% Real Ingredients. Nothing Else
Most teas on store shelves are blended or sprayed with "natural" or artificial flavourings or fragrances for flavour. "Natural" flavouring results in a strong perfume and cloying after-taste that masks the true taste of tea. This is often done to cover up poor quality tea & cut costs.
Natural and artificial flavours are made by "flavorists" in a laboratory by extracting either "natural" or "synthetic" chemicals to create flavourings. According to FDA Code, the definition for Natural flavour is: the essential oil, oleoresin, essence or extractive, protein hydrolysate, distillate, or any product of roasting, heating or enzymolysis, which contains the flavouring constituents derived from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material… whose significant function in food is flavouring rather than nutritional" (21CFR101.22).
Popular flavouring additives you'll find in other teas include: Bergamot orange (Earl Grey), Lemon, Berry, Fruit, Vanilla and Floral teas. Quality food isn't sprayed with flavourings. Why TEA? Our unique blends use real ingredients applying both innovative and traditional methods to create natural and authentic flavour.
